I noticed an infestation in my tree that looked like tent
caterpillars and went into burnt earth mode. Research determined it
was fall webworms, a fairly harmless pest since the caterpillars hath
and eat the leaves in the late summer. I reading up I found it is no
longer correct to refer to the real destructive pests as 'gypsy
moths' since that is derogatory to the Romani. I expect Cher will
have to redo one of her hits.
