• Saturday Night Supper ?ÿÿÿÿÿÿ8/01/2026

What's your meal going to be this first day and first Saturday of August?
Yes, it's a bit early for some folks but for Cindy, Dave, Jill, and Ed it's after 5:00 p.m. at their homes.

Here it's going to be bacon, tomato, and macaroni salad, but it's not really going to be ready to be eaten until very, very late tonight. Sunday would be even better as it would be thoroughly chilled and everything melded together. I'll still probably sample it late tonight. Also, there's a large shallot
in this mix along with the dressing, salt, and white vinegar.

This is the same salad I made about a year ago that Bryan simply lost it
    when I posted it. ÿÿ?ÿÿÿÿ

Lunch was a salad: romaine, cilantro sprigs, sliced scallion,
cucumber, tomato, avocado, shrimp. Lime vinaigrette.

Dinner will be scrambled eggs and toast.

We are just starting to make moves toward supper. My wife asked me just
a couple minutes ago if I wanted to eat out on the patio. Yesterday I
went to Farm Boy and picked up a couple of their ready made burger
patties. I got one bacon and blue cheese for me and one double smoked
cheddar and caramelized onion for my wife. I have to go out and slice
some tomato and onions while she grills them.

Is Mr. Congeniality still around. The last I read he was AWOL.

Simply some angel hair pasta tossed with butter & olive oil and Dash
dried garlic & herb seasoning. My refrigerator is still not functional
so I cannot deal with a lot of leftovers. Having a hard time finding a
    repair person.

I had to be out and about a bit after 5 so, I decided to grab something
at Wendy's. The fries were good, the chicken sandwich is not something
    I'd repeat.

Yes, I can imagine, your Majesty. Most of them have heard about you
even if they never serviced your appliances. Dataw is a very small
enclave, so your Highness' reputation is probably well known.

    Good Luck your Majesty!
