Despite my wife's recent problems with shrimp she suggest that we have shrimp tonight. We used to have them frequently but laid off one of my favourite items when she started getting sick every time she ha1ve them.

This afternoon I picked up some nice big tiger shrimp. When they were
thawed I mixed up some salt, pepper, garlic powder, chili powder and chipotle and sprinkled it over the shrimp1 and let them sit for about an hour. I then cooked them as per a recent episode of America's Test
Kitchen where you pot some oil in a pan, add the shrimp and crank up the heat. When they are nicely cooked on one side take the pan off the hear
and turn them over to finish them. They were served with a salad, pico
de gallo and guacamole.
We will be doing that again.
