While it's cool, he's created a hazard by not having reflectors, but
that ruins the illusion. You want a gate to be as visible as possible.
Where the property line is won't be obvious.

Excellent point! I was only thinking about daylight use and hadn't even thought about nighttime use. Of course he *could* put up reflectors on adjacent trees or posts but they would look just an unnatural there....

I don't see why this would be any more dangerous at night than an average >normal gate would be. One would think headlights would illuminate it as a >barrier in the road just as they would if the guy used a more standard style >gate.
