    The USA practically holds a monopoly on audiovisual
    productions. When Hollywood jumps on a trend, it only
    gets out of it when nobody can take it anymore. There
    have already been eras of detective movies, shoot-em-ups,
    tough guys, etc.

    The audience isn't enjoying Starfleet Academy, it has
    already been cancelled by Paramount.
