After an arduous workout, I watched:

    Nothing.

    What did you watch?

Also nothing worth mentioning. I've been going hard on D&D. Maybe I'll
start yakking about my new module in rec.games.frp.dnd.

I somehow never managed to get into D&D. I knew it existed, but no one
I knew played it and it just never became a thing with me. I still love playing Monopoly though.

This is a multiday catch up. Over the past week or so I have been watching:

Spider-Man - So far I have made my way through all of the Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland Spider-Man movies. They are generally
a fun ride when revisiting them but some obviously hold up much better
than others. I also managed to get the first Venom movie out of the
way. Now all that's left is to finish off the remaining Sony Spider-man movies, that don't have Spider-Man in them.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (Paramount+) "Valles Marineris" - Season 4 premier. This is a little hard to recap without getting into spoilers.
But basically Enterprise finds itself stranded and in need to get more
fuel. While they are trying to refuel they are caught up in an
interplanetary war. This was a pretty good premier. They also dropped another "Doctor Who" reference. I am loving these "Doctor Who" Easter
Eggs. Although this one was pretty blatant. Word on the street is they
were going to do a proper Dr. Who crossover episode but it got cancelled.

I watched some other stuff, but I think that's all worth mentioning.

I have now seen all of the "Spider-Man" flicks except for the second and
    last Garfield one.

Of the "Spider-Man Cinematic Universe" (or whatever it's called) films,
I have only seen the first two Venoms and Madame Web. I don't think I
will even like the third Venom flick as it doesn't have Michelle
Williams (whose role was already seemingly downgraded in the second
Venom flick). I really don't have much desire to see the other two - I
would have to make myself watch "Morbius" and I just haven't had the
desire to subject myself to that... [shrug]

Why does Spider-Man need to be in his own movie?

Tom Holland is funny as hell; wish he'd do comedy. I never thought Tobey
looked young enough, but the first movie is reasonably entertaining.
There is plenty about that script I don't enjoy. I find the third Tobey unwatchable and I've never finished it.

I?ve seen them all except for the first venom which I turned off halfway
and the second venom which I skipped entirely, including Madame Webb, which
I sat all the way through.

But apparently, Mark Ruffalo, who is a lying mentally ill sack of garbage
that I thought had left the MCU, is featured prominently in brand new day
so I won?t be watching it. At all. Not even for free.

Same reason I skipped fant4stic and I intend to skip the new avengers movie because of equally lying mentally ill sack of garbage Pedro Pascal.

I?ve heard that as well, but no word as to what doctor or companion it
    would?ve been.

I have tried and failed to watch the 1997 movie. It keeps hanging the video
and just playing the audio. You can see the image if you scrub through it,
but it will hang if you try to play it and never in the same place twice,
    but not very far in.

Carol Kane's character is the one who keeps dropping hints, so she would
    have been the companion.

They are probably trying to get people to buy the new disc so it's not available anywhere else.
