    In the countryside of Elizabethan England, a young Latin tutor is
    smitten by the eldest daughter on a neighboring farm. HAMNET (same as "Hamlet", a title informs us) was nominated for multiple Oscars
    including Best Picture, and maybe should've won all of them ...even Cinematography, for which it was somehow overlooked. This one reminded
    me how good a serious movie can be. Highly recommended.

    Because I enjoyed the director's b.p. NOMADLAND less than most seemed
    to, i was a bit apprehensive for this one, but found it inspired.
