    I really enjoyed this, and I first read it because of a filk song that was written about it. The framing device is a good one but I do not think it
    is original to Mr. Simmons.

    I was surprisingly undisturbed by the lack of an ending. I think that
    the stories were just the sort of thing I was looking for at the time, a period when I was reading little SF.

    Margaret Atwood wrote a very favorable introduction to Wyndham's
    "Chocky". I suspect she would confess to liking a lot of SF other than
    that of Ursula LeGuin.
