This is as good an elegy as I could imagine. I personally recall
someone named April argue with me about fractal time as it relates to
the Powernaut.
In other Facebook news, Dvandom is at home resting with specialized
equipment for those who have had a heart attack.

Martin was a long time Legion of Net.Heroes writer starting way back
in 1992. Definitely as a person he could be very difficult to deal with sometimes and liked to endlessly argue with others about all kinds of
stuff. Certainly the last few times he posted to
rec.arts.comics.creative it seemed like he wanted to burn every single
bridge. I'd say he was very sensitive about his own feelings and not
very sensitive about other people's feelings and that was probably his
biggest flaw.
That being said he was a very important voice in shaping the LNH --
helped create some fun characters like Master Blaster and Deja Dude (a
very semi-autobiographical type character). If there is such a thing as
an LNH style of writing then he would be one of the architects (along
with Hubert Bartels, wReam, Ken Schmidt, and Jeff McCoskey) of such a
thing. He wrote a ton of LNH stories and perhaps wrote more than any
other writer (well either him or Amabel Holland hold that distinction).
He wrote most of the first volume of the LNH series. He created the
LNH2 imprint (set in a possible LNH future). He also wrote stuff in the
LNHY and LNH20 imprints). I enjoyed various stuff he wrote like the LNH
v1 series, The Master Blaster/Deja Dude miniseries, Generation Y,
Google.mesh, and various stuff he wrote for LNH Comics Presents.
And he helped write some stuff for Beige Countdown and Beige Midnight
and I'll always appreciate him for that work.
Anyways so long Martin and if there are afterlifes I do hope you end
up in one of the okay ones.
Here's a link to one of the series he wrote: https://archives.eyrie.org/racc/lnhy/Google.mesh/
Also looking through Facebook -- Dave Van Domelen has had a heart
attack. Best wishes to him and hope he has a quick recovery.
