    Heard on the news today John C. Dvorak passed yesterday. He was a good
    friend of OS/2 during the best time in computing!!

    Yes, very sad news. I absolutely love that guy. Been following him since The Screen Savers and Cranky Geeks on ZDTV in '99 up to last episode of No Agenda he was on this past Sunday (#1887).

    World is a different place without him, at least to me.

    Agreed. I was a fan of his (writing) since PC Magazine days. I'd read the whole (thick) magazine cover to cover, but I always started with his featured article and his "inside track" column. Met him briefly in person at ONE BBSCON '93. And listened to NA since around episode 100, so yeah, definitely will miss him.
