    Luxon was concerned about the possible loss of lives, that was the important thing.

    The whole political angle is certainly the country could do without. Nature could not care who was in charge.

    There is a) proof the the earth is warming
    b) The amount of CO2 is not the cause.

    The earth is in the middle of a warming period, humanity needs to accept
    this and adapt or die.

    years ago, which was 4C warmer than today's temperatures? Sound the
    taps, we all died back then. Life is an illusion.

    To me it is clear that Gordon's reference to 'adapt or die' is in the
    future, not the past.

    There were fewer people around back then. And every time a natural
    disaster hit, that number went down even more. Recovery was crucially
    dependent on the fact that women spent much of their lives making
    babies.
