Poor Nicola Willis bemoans her Stockholm Syndrome as oil tankers queue
up to deliver the goods to NZ. So who are they?
From the article: "She said fuel importers had had success in securing >refined fuels from outside the Middle East, and extra storage should
be ready at Marsden Point by the end of May."
Let's parse that: "fuel importers" have secured refined oil, i.e.,
the *government* has NOT secured these fuels. Don't blame us!
Get this quote from Luxon: "For us, we deal with refineries that often
are large multinational companies, and that's a big part of their job
- finding alternative sources of crude oil. And some have been,
obviously, they've been able to, some in case, say some cases have
been able to do that quite well. So that's why, at this stage, we have
no signs of any significant supply disruptions, and we've got no need
for restrictions."
Let's parse that: "Large multnational companies" -- NOT US -- have
been able to -- er -- ahh - in certain cases, er some cases, find
alternative oil -- very well. Aren't they clever! We don't know
anything about RUSSIAN OIL.
So the reading is that "alternative sources" include Russian oil --
India in particular has massive Russian oil. All repackaged for
ethical sale to virtue-signalling but needy buyers, yeah team!
Willis & Luxon are actually doing the right thing, wow, I'm impressed.
Now restore the Marsden Point refinery, wouldya!
