  • Bluetooth no longer working

    Dear all,

    As a non-root user, I do not manage to make bluetooth work although the
    user in question does belong to the bluetooth group and things used to
    work on this machine.

    If I try to do things manually with bluetoothctl the error message I get
    is:

    Failed to register agent: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.AccessDenied

    Does anyone know what I should do to understand what changed
    and then properly fix this, please?

    You didn't show the prompt, so we don't know if you're running
    'bluetoothctl' as root or not. Don't run it as root.

    Is the service active?

    systemctl is-active bluetooth
