I have an i7-7700 PC which no longer is allowed for Windows. So I switched
to
Linux Mint as first working choice. But Mint is only X64. I develop a softw
are
which simulates an x86-128 Processor. You find some informations about it
in my Homepage: www.institut-wolfgang-renner.de
I have a Intel Atom 32 Tablett which runs still under Win10 Home. But I wan
t
to change it to an working X86-32 Linux format. I heart that Debian is best
for X32 computers.
My X128DspLib Project assums that an X128 Processor will come, which is
for 32, 64 and 128 Bits complete congruent. You have always 32 X86, X87
and 32 XMM registers. So even one assembler source file can be compiled
for 32, 64 and 128 Bit Modus.
Intel is not willing to talk about my privat hobby project. But I am an rat
her old
man and I will not take my work into my grave. I intend to give Intel, Micr osoft
and the Linux community my latest development stage before dieing. So that
it is conserved and further processed after my death. Who would be the best address to communicate about X128DspLib inside Linux world ?
My acute problem is, that I work currently on Mint which does not support X
32.
And I want to have a second Linux installation, which allows to test X32 an
d X64
in parallel. On Windows both X86 sizes are completely supported. But not on most modern Linux distros. So which Linux for my Atom32 Tablet and which
Linux for my X64 working PC ?
