• OS Update

From Paul Goodman@3:633/10 to All on Monday, September 14, 2026 20:24:36
I went ahead and updated my IPhone and IPad to IOS 27, my watch to 27, and
my Mac to OS 27. Everything installed with no issues and so far everything
    is working as it should.

Apparently Siri now works! Have you tried it?

The Ai version, at least on my phone, 17 Pro, is still in beta. It gives me
an option to join a waitlist for the feature, which I just enabled. Normal
Siri searches seem to work fine for me.

For those that don't want to jump into the brand new OS versions, Apple
has also released updates for some older OS versions too.

Although, you need to careful as many have reported that "26.7" is actually
    27.

Thanks. Is it bigger than iOS 26? Is your free space about the same?

They are mistaken, or perhaps misclicked.

To be honest, I am really not sure. I haven't been paying attention to how
much free space I have since I have plenty to spare to begin with. My guess
is that it does take up more room, but not by a whole lot.

You have every device they offer, huh? Better than the people spending

Why are you even here and cross posting to irrelevant ngs if that's your attitude?

For me 26.7 actually IS 26.7. My iPad 11 and iPhone 11 have evidently maxed out.

I shall not be rushing off to upgrade either.
