on the group within a matter of minutes, the one to this group
still hasn't appeared.

One dated 4th @19:45 was downloaded here at 21:04 on 4th.
I do not see how changing to FTTP would affect usenet posting - it only
needs a working internet connection.

the computer I use for the internet these days is a Raspberry Pi 4 (Riscos Bits "Fourtress") so has not been around that long.
I have checked the internet configuration, and this is what I see:
Routing:
Gateway 192.168.0.1
Act as IP router unticked
Run RouteD unticked
Routes file All lines begin with#
Host name RISCOpi
Local domain Blank
Primary name server Blank
Try name server to unticked
Hosts file # in front of all lines except loopback 127.0.0.1 secondary name server Blank

This looks like a Resolver issue.
I had to change my gateway which was the same as yours, to the
access address of my new router (in my case 192.168.1.254) and the
primary name server to the same address so the router supplies the
DNS function. This should fix the resolver issue.

I agree the blank Local Domain and Name Server look wrong ... but
surely they should be blank (as they are here) if the interface
Configure says get IP using DHCP, which should supply. What does the Interface Status show?
