Using Samsung Galaxy Android v16 as Satnav on Google maps.
Voice tells me to turn left but from then on I get no sound.
Obviously the speaker is on and the volume turned up as it alread spoke
    that once.
    Any ideas?
I think it did this with my last phone too.

Do you have your audio paired with a Bluetooth device which has the volume turned down? I used to get this in my car - phone speaker worked until the ignition was turned on. The phone was sending audio to the car radio which
    was on mute.

I think you might be right. Following Maria Sophias' recoomended check,
I found that it was connected to bluetooth. I know bluetooth is paired,
and I can play music, but still cannot get it to speak though the car speakers.
However I can get it to 'talk' through the phone speaker, so I'll settle
    for that.
