• How to Keep a Recorded mp4 Playing While Switching to Another app?

I'm listening to a recorded podcast, and I want to do something else, like
set an alarm, or send an email. But as soon as I hit the home button, so I
can get to the other app, the podcast stops.

    Can that behaviour be changed?

On my Samsung Galaxy Tab A11+ tablet I use the split screen feature for
that. I can watch a video on one side while playing around in another app
on the other. Nice feature. If you haven't already, you might check to see
    if you have it too...

It depends on the player you're using. Check if it has a "run in the background" setting, and if so enable it.

Take care though, it might than also keep going when you receive a
    voice-call.
