    ANetBBS v1.0a2.60 - Public Alpha Release!

    The BBS isn't dead. It just got an upgrade.

    ANetBBS is a modern BBS server with classic vibes - telnet, SSH, and full web access in one package. Today we're releasing our first public alpha, and it's got everything you'd expect... plus a few things you wouldn't.

    What's in the box:
    - Terminal BBS via Telnet & SSH (with ANSI art, of course)
    - Full web interface - no terminal required
    - Door games including LORD
    - In-browser DOS games - yes, DOOM and Duke Nukem 3D, playable right in your browser
    - MRC multi-system chat relay
    - Auto-update system, event scheduler, security scanner, personal pages, image gallery, and more

    I see on the github page that you keep mentioning lord "(LORD ships pre-installed and plays out of the box)" and you are saying it's a javascript PORT of the game. it is NOT a port. it's a javascript rewrite. I don't believe any existing proprietary code was used to make the synchronet bbs js lord clone.

    I still prefer the original lord where we can also use 3rd party utilities like mzklord and a lot of fun igms.

    Same here. Unfortunately, projects outside the BBS related to
    ham radio and square dancing (2 other hobbies) have slowed my BBS
    work to a trickle.
