    Seems Windows users (going to Linux) are doing this, my problem is I
    lose expensive software I use in Windows

    and will have to replace

    But the incentive for me to do so grows greater as WIN11 just get unbelievably worse!

    if you can do it, it's great. you'll have total control of your PC. no
    account to sign into. the OS is free, as is all the software, and
    upgrades. backups and upgrades for the OS and software are just one
    click from the software manager. no downloading from websites and paying
    for software, unless you want to. I recommend Linux Mint Cinnamon
    edition. download and burn the ISO. https://www.linuxmint.com/download.php
    you can run it without installing anything to try it out. but when
    installed it will look much better due to customization. and if you need
    to know how to do something, just put a question into google. if you can
    get another computer to install LM on keep your wincrap computer so you
    can still use it if you have to. have them connected via a KVM so you
    can easily switch. it's not easy to change I know, but if you do, you'll
    never go back!ÿ :)
