  • another downside of high RAM prices

    I noticed lately more people on FBMP selling PCs without RAM. One
    scoundrel had a few business workstations. They originally came with 32
    GB of DDR4. So obviously sold off the RAM for buy some nice wine. But
    why the fuck would I buy these when it will cost me $329 for the
    cheapest RAM to make it useful again?

    It'd be a good deal if you already had the RAM, eg. if your PC's
    motherboard just died.

    I've got mountains of RAM sticks, but only for hardware from 15-30
    years ago.
