  • accessing internet om Telstra phone-only NBN connection?

    My elderly mother has a landline only plan.
    Out of curiosity, I connect a laptop by WiFi using the password on
    bottom of modem, and get internet access. Since it costs $15 less than
    their cheapest internet plan, would this be fraud? Of course internet
    access is needed for VOIP phone, but I presume it is throttled to some
    very low speed.
