    It works because the little carb at WOT is acting like a big one but at
    closed throttle. It is also under *no load* so power requirements are
    meagre.

    No doubt you will have also noted that the engine runs fine *according
    to her) on the 650 CFM 4 barrel. What's more, it would produce lots of
    *power* with that 650 CFM unit. Not so with the lawnmower carb.

    Note too that it runs nice on that little carb - good fuel atomisation
    at that mega flow rate.

    Stick it on a dyno and you will find that it is speed governed by the
    carb and their is insufficient air to burn much fuel when power is
    required. Remember, you can only burn fuel that has the requisite
    quantity of air - there's a formula for that - so you could calculate
    the amount of power it could produce or the amount of RPM it could reach.

    Seen her vids before, she (he?) is clued up on engines - if a little zany.

    I made this exact point on a facebook page just last week stating that
    running a carb too large or too small will result with less than optimal performance. I made making a car engine run using a lawnmower carb as an example of what you can do but not what you should do just as you should
    not overcarb an engine.

    You don't even need a carb, you can get an engine to run on fuel vapours
    using some hose, a soft drink bottle and some fuel but again - what
    works and what works best are two different things - which is completely
    lost on those less technically minded that compensate for their lack of knowledge and understanding with caveman level mentality. (You know who
