Why do you buy South Korean cars? To
    support the unfinished Korean Wars?

Then why don't you all just finish
    the Wars? Meow... :)

Foreign cars make for a more competitive environment.
A few car companies are coming out with $30K BEVs.
This would never have happened, if the Chinese weren't
    ready to export their creations.

In order to compete, new car companies are starting up.
    This one is an example.

The Slate offers a vehicle with no-doors as an option.
Check with your local laws regarding where it is legal
to drive with no doors. On a normal vehicle, you can have
doors, and the doors can be equipped with a side air bag.

Ford is also making a cheap one. Which is intended to crush
the Slate, but time will tell what the bottom line price is.
For example, let us say the price of aluminum goes up
for some strange reason, the price of this vehicle might go up too.
