I loved the Quake 1 NiN soundtrack - I still have it somewhere...

Wow, I totally forgot about this. Next stop: Youtube. Thanks for the reminder :)

I liked the CD soundtrack for MechWarrior 2 also. My favorite song from that is Pyre Light.

I only learned this just this week, but the soundtrack from SimCity 3000
was at one time available on CD. I wish I had known that back then. ;)

    That's cool.
Although I played the first 2 SimCity games a lot, I didn't play the later SimCity games much at all. I'm not sure why.

same here, but the last simcity that came out I ended up getting under macos because for some reason it was free at the time. and it was pretty good.

I always though it would be pretty cool to have a doorgame that is pretty much like simcity or simcity 2000, might even be one out there and I just havent seen it yet.. my faves were simcity 2000, red alert 2, and roller coaster tycoon..

I played 2000 because it would work well on my 386DX40. I didn't pick up
3000 until I had a machine that it could run on (it required Windows). I wanted to pick up 4 but its system requirements at the time were well above whatever I had.

3000 is an upgrade to 2000. Gameplay is a little more complicated, but
there are some things that are a little easier than in 2000.
